It's as busy as ever here in my studio with new works & wedding plans, as well as at my other home Curative despite cocooning myself from events.
This is my latest work-in-progress, thinking about the balance of the masculine & the feminine in terms of energy (not gender). In Eastern philosophy such as in Taoism and Buddhism, the masculine represents action, doing, fire, progress, linear movement, pushing, hardness. The feminine principle on the other hand, represents being, stillness, grounding, water, depth, connectedness, drawing in & softness. Have been thinking about the rising feminine principle in society, after centuries of our planet favouring patriarchal ideals and values.
